Aidan is an experienced non-executive director within the financial services sector. He currently serves on the boards of JP Morgan Emerging Markets Trust plc where he is chair-designate, Henderson International Income Trust plc and The Edinburgh Investment Trust plc. He also sits on the Marketing Ambassadors’ forum for the Association of Investment Companies and is a charity trustee.

Aidan has over 35 years’ executive experience in various senior strategy and marketing roles, in both the consumer products and financial services sectors. He most recently held the position of Head of Strategy at Investec Wealth & Investment, having previously been Chief Marketing Officer since 2010. Prior to that he had roles with Standard Chartered Bank and Allianz Global Investors. The first 20 years of his working life was spent with Unilever plc including seven years living in China and Thailand.

Aidan has been a member of Chapter Zero since early 2021 and has a particular interest in ESG matters and the role of sustainability committees. He is keen to help grow the membership of Chapter Zero.
