If you found this a useful exercise, suggest to your Chair and Company Secretary that all board members complete the Board Scorecard and it is used as the basis for a board discussion.

This process can be even more valuable if different groups within the organisation are asked to complete the assessment based on their perceptions of what is happening in the boardroom. This helps with engagement, but can also give the directors useful insights on how well they are communicating with their teams.

If you have a Sustainability Committee their views will be valuable too.
