Climate Dialogue: bridging the gap between the Sustainability and Remuneration Committees
February 22 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm GMT
This Climate Dialogue will provide an opportunity for Sustainability Committee Chairs to discuss how they can support their colleagues on Remuneration Committees in ensuring ESG targets are aligned with executive remuneration.

Chapter Zero Climate Dialogues provide a space for non-executive director (NED) members to share best practice and learning with small groups of their peers on addressing climate in the boardroom.
In this session, we will explore how Sustainability Committees are currently collaborating with Remuneration Committees, and how this collaboration can help to ensure ESG targets are aligned with executive remuneration to meet the expectations of shareholders, avoid greenwashing and successfully deliver a 45% cut in global emissions by 2030.
Jo Harlow, Chapter Zero board member and non-executive director at J. Sainsbury plc, Halma plc and Intercontinental Hotels Group plc, will lead the discussion. We will also be joined by Mitul Shah, People and Purpose Partner at Deloitte, who has deep experience on the practical challenges of operating incentive plans and is also lead advisor to Remuneration Committees across a range of industries.
This peer-to-peer session is for NED members of Chapter Zero who are Chairs of Sustainability Committees or their equivalent.
Due to the interactive nature of this event, there is a limit to the number of participants we can host at the session. Each registration will be reviewed based on the information provided.
