Plans beyond pledges: Effective board leadership of the net zero transition

Sign up for this event

UK boardrooms are critical to ensuring that we achieve economy-wide net zero and create long-term business value through effective transition plans. Join us at Chapter Zero's flagship transition planning event, hosted by WTW.

The event will explore the board leadership that will make or break the UK's transition to a net zero economy. We will bring together voices from across government, business and investors to share perspectives and first-hand experience. There will be expert panel discussions on the role of transition planning in achieving climate goals, extracting business value and attracting future investment.

Why attend?

  • Better understand transition planning and its pivotal role in navigating a credible path to net zero.
  • Explore the view from industry leaders about what good looks like and the role of NEDs in the transition process.
  • Share and learn from case studies highlighting success stories, challenges and direct experience of transition planning.
  • Learn about Chapter Zero's NED Transition Planning Toolkit, developed in association with London Stock Exchange Group which draws on the new Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) Framework.

Who'll be there?

The event will bring together Directors of UK companies, as well as investors, asset owners and other key stakeholders critical to driving credible transition plan implementation.

With the TPT Final Disclosure Framework released in October, and to become regulation next year, this is your chance to get ahead so you can steer your business to a successful transition that makes the most of growth opportunities.
