Accelerating the Integration of Climate-Related Matters into Corporate and Investment Decision-Making: A Discussion for Non-Executive Directors

Sign up for this event

Join Chapter Zero, Deloitte and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)  during London Climate Action Week for a high-level discussion designed for non-executive directors.

It is becoming imperative for businesses to factor into their strategic thinking not only the transition to a lower-carbon economy but adaptation in the face of increasing climate-related physical risks. This panel will examine whether climate-related risks and opportunities are being sufficiently priced into investment decision-making. We will also explore how non-executive directors can guide the integration of sustainability insights into core business strategies to enable more resilient businesses.

With growing global momentum towards the adoption of the ISSB Standards, including in the UK, this event will discuss how sustainability data can enhance board-level strategic decision-making, leading to high-quality information available to investors for asset pricing and assessing long-term returns. Participants will also receive updates on the ISSB’s work to develop guidance on transition plan disclosures.

This is a hybrid event, with in-person attendance hosted at the Deloitte Academy for non-executive directors. As there is limited capacity, please do contact Deloitte directly to attend in-person and enjoy the opportunity for a networking lunch prior to the event.
