Navigating ESG & Climate Headwinds: Strategic Narratives for Financial Sector Boards

Sign up for this event

The business case for climate action in the financial sector has never been clearer, but the politics and narrative surrounding the conversation are increasingly complex. Legal challenges, regulatory changes, and conflicting policies across jurisdictions make it ever more important to be able to articulate confidently why climate action and business competitiveness go hand in hand.

Whether influencing colleagues, supporting executive teams, directing investment and lending strategies, or addressing opposition from shareholders and stakeholders, this workshop hosted by Chapter Zero and the Climate Governance Initiative (CGI) will provide a space for non-executive directors (NEDs) across the financial services ecosystem to discuss and debate challenges to ESG and climate finance and find business focused, common ground positions that transcend political affiliation and can address head on concerns from critical voices.

Offering a robust evidence base, strategic communication approaches and peer feedback, this practical workshop is designed to equip Financial Services NEDs with effective narratives and clear rationale to support their strategic objectives around business and climate resilience and the opportunities of the net zero transition.

Please note that this event is for Financial Services NEDs only and places are limited – reserve your place now today to be part of this essential discussion.
