Aimed at Sustainability and ESG Committee Chairs and members, our latest climate dialogue will focus on the impact of climate-related health risks on businesses (that is the climate/health nexus). Through interactive peer discussions, we will explore to what extent risks are being treated as core strategic concerns compared with reactive operational issues, how climate-health can be used as a lens for developing ESG strategy, and the ways the sustainability committee can integrate climate-health into governance, resilience and risk conversations, using the framing as a compelling case to drive action from the boardroom.

This ESG Committee Dialogue is part of a Wellcome-funded project to encourage non-executive directors to address climate-related health risks as part of governance.
