The board agenda: geopolitics, climate and capital allocation

Capital allocation and climate resilience will be the topic of discussion at this roundtable event, designed for non-executive directors. Attendees will explore strategic approaches to the allocation of capital in the context of fragmented policy, economic uncertainty and extensive regulation.

This event takes place against a backdrop of levels and types of instability that are  fundamentally different from what most leaders – in government or business – have experienced previously. The rules of the international order that have made up the backbone for global business activities are eroding.

Simultaneously, the global climate challenge demands coordinated action. To maintain climate ambitions as a business in this environment now requires navigating a new geopolitical reality.

How to allocate capital to further business resilience and contribute to a new green economy is the question boards are now facing.

Please note this event is invitation-only. You can contact us at events@chapterzero.org.uk to request an invitation to attend.
