Jo de Vries

Jo de Vries is our Content Partnerships Director whose career has been spent developing high-quality thought leadership, latterly specialising in climate and the circular economy.

Prior to joining Chapter Zero, Jo was Editorial Lead at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, having consulted for them for several years previously. During her time at the Foundation, she worked on a wide range of groundbreaking reports and global narratives on climate, industrial decarbonisation, the economic potential of nature-positive solutions, and transforming the finance, food and fashion sectors.

Much of her career has been spent in non-fiction publishing, working in senior leadership and consulting roles across trade, educational and specialist publishing. She was Course Leader and Senior Lecturer for the BA (Hons) in Journalism & Publishing at Bath Spa University and founded the South West branch of the Society of Young Publishers, offering support and mentorship to those seeking to enter the publishing industry.
