Reflections from ChangeNOW, Paris 2025: Navigating the 'messy middle' and more

Matt Scott, Chapter Zero Senior Advisor, shares his thoughts on an inspiring global gathering of non-executive directors at the 2025 ChangeNOW conference in Paris. Offering insights into how climate governance is good governance, and how NEDs can lead the way in driving strategy that will ensure resilience and reap value, as well as offering critical oversight of transition planning to deliver credible outcomes.

Paris in the Spring – what more can you ask for? Perhaps the chance to attend an in-person global gathering of non-executive directors (NEDs) taking on the climate challenge, co-host three workshops to share Chapter Zero’s transition planning toolkit, and share a fireside chat with the wonderful Karina Litvack, ambassador and Founding Chair of the Climate Governance Initiative.
