The role of business in delivering the UK’s net zero ambition (Recording available)
January 21, 2021 @ 8:30 am – 9:30 am GMT
Emily Farnworth in conversation with Chris Stark
For the first time the Committee on Climate Change’s (CCC) 6th Carbon Budget will set a trajectory for reducing the UK’s carbon emissions in line with the Government’s Net Zero 2050 target. This, combined with the policies expected from the Government and the potential outcomes of COP26 in 2021, will shape the future operating environment for business for years to come. Understanding this changing landscape will be essential if non-executive directors want their businesses to benefit from the opportunities that it will create and protect them from risk.
