In this special briefing from Chapter Zero, the Climate Governance Initiative and the World Benchmarking Alliance​ (WBA), attendees will hear first-hand the Financial System Benchmark 2025 results and why the leaders are leading. The session will offer Financial Sector (FS) Board members and executive teams a clear view of their institution's performance relative to peers and how this has been measured, particularly in regards to governance and strategy.

The session will feature:

  • Presentation – An overview of the benchmark results and top takeaways.
  • Fireside Chat – A discussion with financial sector non-executive directors (NEDs) from top-scoring institutions, sharing their perspectives on effective governance and leadership.
  • Q&A – An opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the WBA and NED speakers.

With a focus on readiness to transition, panellists will discuss how to advance leadership, resilience and protect company value. They will also share practical actions for FS NEDs seeking to enhance performance.

While this briefing is designed for NEDs in FS, real economy NEDs and FS employees are welcome to attend.
