An announcement at the LSEG Market Open
This morning London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) welcomed Chapter Zero to the Market Open Ceremony hosted by Don Robert, Chair of LSEG and Supporting Chair of Chapter Zero.
The ceremony was followed by a board briefing and discussion, bringing together business and policy leaders to discuss the business opportunity of the net zero transition and to announce the creation of the Chapter Zero Transition Planning Toolkit that will be published later in the year. The toolkit is funded by the LSEG Foundation and will prove an essential source of guidance to board directors as the transition plan framework becomes regulation for the 2024-2025 reporting cycle.

Speaking at the event, Julie Baddeley, Chair of the Board, Chapter Zero, said:
“The transition to net zero, as well as creating risk, provides huge opportunities for companies which are on the front foot in capturing them. There will be losers who fail to get ahead of the transition in front of us, and there will be winners. Our members are focused on making sure their organisation sits on the right side of the scales.”
