Ben Pummell

Ben is Associate Director, Communications and brings significant experience leading communications for businesses and civil society organisations.

Prior to joining the Chapter Zero team, Ben was Head of Communications at the Aldersgate Group, an alliance of major businesses, NGOs and academic institutions advocating for high ambition climate and nature policy from the UK Government. He held responsibility for the creation and delivery of the organisation’s communications strategy, including media engagement, digital channels, editorial and an extensive events programme featuring leaders from business, politics and civil society.

This followed previous roles in communications agencies, where he led campaigns for businesses in the construction, renewables, design and professional services sectors, as well as financial institutions. He has also provided pro bono consultancy to charities and community unions on their communications approach.

Ben has a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s in Public Relations.
