Tackling transition plan dependencies from the boardroom

A credible climate transition plan is a strategic blueprint to secure a company’s relevance in a low-emissions, climate resilient future – increasingly used by investors and insurers to assess future-fitness and identify profitable investment opportunities. But inevitably the success of a company’s transition often depends on factors outside of its control.

This online workshop, held in partnership with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), will bring together non-executive directors to explore the nature of their companies’ dependencies and potential impacts, delving into the actions companies can take to influence and engage with stakeholders across the economy, mitigate transition risk, gain competitive advantage, and protect and enhance value.
